Impermanência

TRAILER IMPERMANÊNCIA
SYNOPSIS
“Impermanence” is a documentary-challenge created by Guto Neto (Semear Filmes), in synergy with the liberating trajectory of the multidisciplinary artist Marcio Cunha.
A film about the artistic journey and creative process of dancer and choreographer Marcio Cunha. Shot between 2016 and 2022, “Impermanence” is a guerrilla-style documentary that follows Marcio through his solo performances “Céu de Basquiat,” “Rosario,” “Casa de Barro,” and “Pipoca,” leading up to “Sacro,” the work in which the artist directs dancers Denise Stutz, Giselda Fernandes, and Frederico Paredes.
The film places Marcio Cunha’s scenic explorations in perspective—from the influence of visual arts, through an immersion in his origins and family conflicts, to the emergence of a full awareness of his connection to nature. “Impermanence” is also a film about the visual constructions of documentarian Guto Neto, who uses the camera in search of a “choreography” of movement, creating a symbiosis of restlessness, challenges, and reflections on artistic creation, and on the ties that make life and work inseparable.
